phase 1: think & research
Conduct user research to define the core value proposition for a digital lost-and-found management platform. Outline the primary personas (e.g., campus administrators, event organizers, and community members). Map out the critical user journeys: logging a found item with a photo, searching the database for a lost item, and the verification process for claiming. Focus on planning a minimalist, Gen-Z friendly interface to modernize a traditionally clunky process.
phase 2: build
Develop the core MVP architecture. Integrate Supabase inside Lovable to handle user authentication, secure image hosting, and the real-time database of lost-and-found inventory. Build the front-end dashboard with smart filtering and search capabilities to easily match lost claims with found items. Ensure a seamless and stable deployment pipeline via Lovable Hosting for rapid beta testing and iteration.
phase 3: pitch
Launch the beta version of the application. Execute a localized pilot rollout by pitching the platform to local schools, educational institutes, and event spaces around Surat as a high-fidelity replacement for the physical "lost and found box." Gather engagement metrics, test the resolution rate of lost items, and collect user feedback to refine the platform for a broader V2 release.
