FeeTracker helps teachers manage classes, collect payments via UPI, and send WhatsApp reminders — in English, Hindi or Gujarati.

3 entries
  1. phase 1: think & research

Conduct user research with independent tuition teachers to identify core pain points in daily class administration. Define MVP requirements focusing on a frictionless user experience: localized language support (English, Hindi, Gujarati), offline-friendly data entry, and eliminating administrative clutter. Map out the user journey for the 3-step onboarding process (Sign up, Add students, Track & remind).

  2. phase 2: build

Develop the core FeeTracker web application. Key deliverables include: building the attendance module with "mark all present" and voice-powered absent marking; integrating UPI QR code generation for instant parent payments; and implementing the one-click WhatsApp integration for pre-written overdue reminders. Build the smart dashboard to instantly highlight overdue students in red.

  3. phase 3: pitch

Launch the public landing page highlighting the "Free for teachers" value proposition. Roll out the app to an initial beta group of local tuition centers. Prepare marketing materials and pitch the platform to educational communities, emphasizing the time saved on admin tasks and faster fee recovery through automated WhatsApp reminders and UPI integration. Gather user feedback for future iterations.

As the result of raw logic and rapid iteration by young builders, users should expect architectural artifacts and edge-case bugs. We prioritize the speed of thought over the polish of production.
